"Big Energy" is a song by American rapper Latto, released through Streamcut and RCA Records on September 24, 2021. It was released as the lead single from Latto's second studio album. "Big Energy" became Latto's highest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100, so far peaking at number 3. In May 2021, Latto released the song "The Biggest" following the announcement of her stage name changing from Mulatto to Latto. Latto (real name Alyssa Michelle Stephens) was born in Columbus, Ohio, and raised in Atlanta. The artist first found fame as a 16-year-old when she competed and won season one of Lifetime's reality show 'The Rap Game', though she turned down the grand prize -- a record deal with Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Records. Her first single, 2020's "Bitch From da Souf," reached No. 95 on the Hot 100. Her debut album, 'Queen of Da Souf,' reached No. 44 on the Billboard 200. She has since collaborated with Cardi B on "Put It On Da Floor Again," which reached No. 13 on the Hot 100 in June 2023, and Megan Thee Stallion on "Budget," which reached No. 87 in August 2022.
